Barre Falls Dam

I love this course. I am from Texas and I can say this course is so beautiful. I see people whine about OB and how the course is too hard but that’s just childish in my opinion. Yeah, it has ob but it all makes sense with the OB being the rock walls. Not random OB like the pro tour. People giving negative reviews are locals who got too birdie happy and don’t like the challenge. Give the course a play, it’s awesome and beautiful.

Open shots, and some tight woods on the back 9. Nice water views to start. Great maintenance and course for free. Will be back

Fun track. There are some really good holes and a good mix of shots. Couple tweaks and one or two more signature holes (maybe add pro tees on a few) and this could be mint.

Great mix of forehand and backhand, water carries, open and wooded, and some real distance! Edit 12/30/21: some baskets have been moved, removing one dangerous blind shot 👍 Edit July 2023 - the open field holes have been replaced with some really fun technical holes in the woods across the road, with generous use of stone walls as OB! It's a really nice improvement - you better be accurate!

I’m certain this is the best maintained free course in the general area (Gardner, Hubbardston, Rutland, Athol, etc.) fun gaps, don’t try the gaps when it’s windy, lost a few here.

Challenging par with a great mixture of hole types. Use the UDisc app to be able to find some holes. Good time!

One of the top courses I have played. Big holes mixed with some technical holes. Even mix of righty and lefty holes.

Great mix of holes, open, wooded short and long. Usually clean, not too busy and offers great views

Fun, scenic layout with a variety of hole and shot types. Some tight, wooded technical shots mixed in with opportunities to really rip it. Definitely want a spotter for a few of the blind shots and when the grass is high. Tee pads are super slick when wet.

Long grass fields off of fairways. Other than that , great course

New layout is fine. Still prefer the old layout but the new one isn't bad and should get better with maintenance.

Very fun course. Awesome layout.

I like the changes. I miss the big throws a bit, but not as much as I thought I would. Love that 18 is appropriately a par 3 now. The course feels more traditional New England disc golf now. Mowing is minimal and annoying on some holes still. Really great ace run course now too.

Course is great, muddy-wet in a couple spots but it's the best time of year to play here
