I played Freight. Maybe this would be better if I knew the course, but two overlapping 18-hole courses is a bad idea. Sharing baskets is bad enough, but the baskets for the front nine on Freight appear marked only for Locomotive. Lots of guessing. Worse, many holes overlap and you often have to cross 1-2 other fairways to walk to your next hole. Simply bad planning. I wouldn’t go out of my way to play here again.

Really fun course with lots of interesting design. Have to be an experienced player to have success out here. Enjoyed my time. Worth a trip.

Needs a redesign. Could be one of the most beloved in the country and probably blue level difficulty or almost gold level. Beautiful course. Not sure if you could play a layout that includes all holes but that would be ideal. The Locomotive layout was hard to follow and required a lot of extra walking, crossed fairways, and didn't flow. We will definitely come back and try other layouts. Highly recommend just for the aesthetics and so many fun holes to play.

The course was a lot of fun to play until the next day. I played it 7/31 and got absolutely lit up by chiggers. I did have to recover a disk from the tall grass on 2 holes and have payed for going after them since. Stay away from the tall grass at all expense.

Great variety of shots. I don’t like the location of 18’s tee pad. At the end of a round especially in a tournament, it’s hard to have luck be a determining factor. That gap is too small.

One of my favorite (if not favorite) courses to play! Holes are not too long but are technical so beginners and professionals alike can enjoy the course. Don’t trust UDisc entirely on this, though. They made changes to the layout this year and have yet to update the UDisc maps.

Lined mix of open/wooded. But really need to update UDisc. Chaos.

This is a very nice course. Great tee pads. I played the Freight course and found the back 9 to be far superior to the front 9. I also found it pretty difficult to find the next tee pad several times, UDisc is a must for first timers.

Always a favorite course! UDisc layouts need to be updated to reflect recent changes though.

This is a sweet course. Definitely worth making the trip for if you’re anywhere nearby. My only critique is that the 2 different layouts often use the same fairway and occasionally tee box (especially on the back 9) so that may slow up your round if it’s busy. Signage is wonderful. New layout for the locomotive line is a ton of fun. Really get to open up and crush the distance driver on the huge downhill holes! Awesome mixture of par 3s, 4s, and even a true par 5. This is probably the best course in South Carolina.

My only complaint is the signage for the freight lines. There are some old Tee pads still in.

Excellent course! Some REALLY long holes, mixed in with tough wooded holes, makes for the best course in the area!!!
