About the course
New 18 hole course inside the Hillsdale State Park near the beach. The course offers two tee box locations and rolls through a natural prairie offering a great time for everyone. Parking is at shelter house #3 just before Crites boat ramp and primitive camping sights; hole one tee boxes are to the east of the dumpsters shelter house #3. There are three bathhouses around the course and multiple large dumpsters. The course is available all year long and coincides with Blue Bird Trail system offering resting areas and benches throughout the course.

They've been working on the tee pads for over a year so you will throw every hole from grass. I've been coming here since before the tee pad issues and keep hoping it'll be completed but no progress has been made. I can no longer make the special trip out here when there are many better options in the area.

Are you a fan of the show lost? Well now you can be like the cast and be lost af playing this course. Absolutely no signs or anything. Somehow this was worse than Wyandotte County park. Sure the fairways are nicely mowed. But once you find the tee box good luck finding the hole. They tuck em in gopher holes so you basically throw to grass the whole time. If they put signs up it could be better rated. But who knows

Decent course in progress, mostly field holes at the time of this review but some interesting longer holes. Looking forward to seeing how it develops.

Tall grass is out of control and the bugs are even more out of control. Other than that I love the course.
