Glenwood is right up the road if people think the OB is too hard and the holes are too long.

I’m really excited and happy to make this my home course. It’s quite fun, not too huge but big enough to keep me challenged. I like my home course to challenge me, keep me engaged, and to be able to work on shot shaping, placement, and rollers. This cool DGC does all that!

Great course to improve different shot types. Make good choices and you’ll enjoy the course!

Good course, IMHO, OB is too tight. Recommend reducing or eliminating some OB, like around baskets, on right on #1 & #3. Make some fairways wider.

Challenging length and OBs. Tee pads are easy to trip up on.

Decent track that let's you get in trouble if you want to. Get there early and bring water.

A little too hard for casual players imo (490ft par 3s), but probably too easy for pros. Best played ignoring OB. Still fun and glad to have an 18 hole course in Vancouver!

Pretty tough course with a lot of OB. Personally a course not for me and my skill level

OB can be difficult, but fun flat course overall. Nice mix of woods and open field.

This is my favorite course in the greater Vancouver area when I'm not interested in going into Portland. I've heard this likened to a small Blue Lake and I think that's accurate. If you like Blue lake at all then you'll enjoy Hockinson, as do I.
The one thing I would like better is if the OB lines were clearer, especially approaching other fairways and trying to figure out where to play from in certain spots if your playing OB lines.
It would be nice if the tee signs had more info on them as well, they are high quality but they do not have any visual about the hole, just the distance.

I don't think crowding baskets near tee boxes and pathways is safe for everyone, especially deaf people who play and can't hear "fore" immediately. A change would be great to support the safety of those who cant hear well. Thank you.

Intermediate difficulty course, OB lines are tight for RHBH, very good tee pads and beautiful scenery. Would like more trash/recycling cans on the course but layout is straightforward. I wouldn’t recommend course for beginners.

This is going to end up being a FANTASTIC course once it's 100% finished. Brutally unforgiving OB lines for an amateur like myself, but not so bad that you can't retrieve your discs (for now). I'd call this a Blue Lake training ground.

This course is right between long par 3s or soft par 4s. It’s a shorter blue lake. Looks pretty and a few great holes, but I look around and feel like they could have made a hill for a tee box, or pushed the basket further back. It left me wanting, and not in a good way.

If you have 380 of consistent distance this place is for you. Kind of boring either way.

Good variety of distances & shot shapes. A few wooded holes, but mostly open drives into protected greens. Lots of OB, but easy to find discs off the fairways. Great course for all skill-levels.

Very well designed. Lots of open fairways, with a feel like Pinto Lake. But most baskets are tucked into wooded areas, giving it just enough of a technical feel to make it slightly challenging even for big arms. Beware of muddy spots just off the fairways.
Extra effort went into wrapping the course around the wetlands, and that deserves everyone's respect. Looking forward to seeing what waterfowl is around. Also, great views of Hood and St. Helens.
