"Absolutely beautiful, the most fun short course I’ve ever played"

"This is an amazing course for beginners or to practice your midrange/putter drives. It’s in a really nice park with an easy flow follow. Apparently it’s the oldest course in NC! Only complaint is that the fairways are a little close together, so you really have to watch out for errant shots when the course is busy. Worth playing if you’re in the area!"

"I went here for the first time and I loved it because of how open it was. Also, it was kind of desolate so I didn’t hear much noise and I loved the course it was super intermediate."

"Horizons Park is a very easy and enjoyable course. It sports large concrete tee boxes, nice tee markers, and a layout that meanders through a bunch of very mature hardwood trees. It’s gorgeous and lots of fun."

"Well maintained, and fairly beginner friendly which is why i mainly play here. Has a wide range of shot types. Also not very many places to lose a disc which is a plus. (although i yanked one and lost it in the woods in 4) Several holes run parallel to one another and some baskets are kinda close together which makes it a little tight but its not a problem. Overall awesome place for casual games and i think the local club meets there also "

"Great short course, if it’s not crowded easy to make up your own shots for practice on longer holes. Beware, this course is always windy. It’s on top of a hill at the foot of some mountains so even though it looks like a beginner course the wind can make it another animal. "

Only real negative is that, on some holes, ace runs can end up on the next tee pad due to hyzer/slight power control issues. Highly recommended for beginners. Great putters and (some) mids course for intermediate players. "
