Kirvin Park Disc Golf Course

No tee signs. Of you don't use udisc, you have no idea where you're going. Relatively boring backhand flat or hyper shots. But that could also be great. Not many trees to worry about. Good practice course. Was recently moved. Rough rough in spots. Stay in the short or long grass. When I was there, the long grass wasn't very long.

Great job to whoever redesigned! Nice little track and utilizes the landscape well. Massive improvement to what was previously there.

Really pretty place and a great course for a dog. New baskets would make this a great place to play.

Decent 9 hole layout, good for beginners and fun for mods. Baskets are 1st generation single chains that look like they’ve been through the wringer. If they had anything like Mach 3s I’d give this course a 3-4 star for being enjoyable/fun.

Nicely manicured fairways, dirt tees, and generally pitch and putt distances. The baskets are antique and a couple are bent out of shape. But overall a fun little track.

Currently unplayable, fairways need a mow and to be widened, rough to my thighs, tee pads (dirt patches) hidden by weeds

Some baskets need work.

Short 9 hole course, not much variety in shots. Real issues are the baskets which some need to be repaired or replaced. They are older baskets with a single layer of chains. Teepads are marked by wood posts in the ground.

Not a bad little 9 holer. Some muddy spots, and leave your inaccurate putters at home. These baskets only have 12 chains

Played the new 9 hole layout and I really like the changes. Hole 1's basket placement is awesome. The new baskets are awesome and easy to see. Once the tee boxes are done this will be a 4 star 9 hole course. I play this course often, and the changes to the course really make sense. The only problem I had was I couldn't score my round on UDisc, wouldn't load. Thanks for all the improvements.

Don’t love the new layout honestly. Little boring and short aside from a few fun ones.

Contacted person in charge of parks in Pittsfield to do three things: 1. Replace baskets, with something modern and more durable. 2. Possibly open the fairways up with expanded mowing to hopefully triple the width of the existing fairways. 3. Possibly add more holes. Berkshire county has nothing except Windsor lake, and if they bite, it’s possible that there may be an opportunity to expand. It’ll cost money and some work, but if they bless it, it would be nice to have a good 18 in Pittsfield.

New baskets are nice and the new layout is an improvement. Fairways need to be mowed way wider and tee pads are still a disaster.
