Good conditions
The first tee is just north of the practice basket. The course is desert terrain, beware of cactus and desert wildlife.

It’s not a bomber course by any means, but it’s beautifully designed and 5 stars for what it does offer. Shorter technical shots that are well designed with nice teepads and signs

I don’t like the course. 30%-40% of the baskets are blind, some have flags so you can see where the basket is. A few cross tees so you have to watch out or get hit. Most shots are “hit the mesquite or palo verde tree just right to drop in a good spot.” Definitely a challenging course. Disappointed that there are none in the park’s grassy area, all in the desert. Guess that couldn’t be worked out with the city and the park usage. Lots of up and down through the course, but some would like that. One basket is by a school and has many violating trespassing laws with players jumping the fence to get their disc. During the school day even. Don’t be one of those! Concrete tees. You’ll just need to try it out for yourself as many do enjoy this course.

Best short course in Tucson.

Every tee shot has at least some challenge, as opposed to the mostly wide open courses in town. You need to shape your shots correctly. Could get very hectic when busy due to fairways being very close to each other in spots. It does, however, maximize the fun factor in the given tight space for an 18 hole course. Definitely my new favorite course in town.
