Fair conditions
Quite wet with puddles in some places but certainly still playable
The Legacy Disc Golf Course is shared with the Sea to Sky Nordic Club and is their summer training ground for Nordic athletes in the corridor. The Nordic Club is constantly investing in improving the property and the disc golf community is fortunate to share this beautiful forest with them. In the pavilion area, they're currently adding a second larger ski jumping area near the yurt. There's also a composting toilet near the basket of hole 18. The course has been redesigned several times as the area evolves and structures are added. PLEASE DO NOT THROW IN THE PAVILION, YURT AND SKI JUMPING AREA. SKIP HOLES WHERE YOU MAY SEE CHILDREN PLAYING AND HORSEBACK RIDERS. PLEASE BE PATIENT AND RESPECTFUL OF DOG WALKERS AND OTHER PEOPLE THAT MIGHT NOT UNDERSTAND DISC GOLF AND MAY BE WANDERING ON THE PROPERTY.
The parking lot is open dawn to dusk. PLEASE DO NOT BLOCK THE ACCESS GATE. If full or chained off, park beside course on the North side of road. Please do not block the neighbors parking on Raven drive. No overnight camping is allowed. There's a campground located down the street off of Logger's Lane.
Hole one starts at the parking lot. Signage is by the red tee and a practice basket is near the blue tee. Play 18 holes of west coast lowland forest disc golf with short and long tee options. Holes 1-10 and 16-18 play in the lower forested area and loop several times back to the main path into the park and close to other amenities...water, washrooms, and shade of pavilion. Holes 11-15 explore the upper hilly area with mossy cliffs and fern gully's to enjoy. All holes are a par 3 except for hole 16 which is a par 4 from both tees. After finishing 18, follow the path back to hole one and the parking lot. PLEASE STAY ON THE GRAVEL ROAD.
Other notes:
Stinging nettle can be found in some areas but dies off later in summer.
Coastal cologne (mosquito spray) is HIGHLY recommended.
The gun range is right beside the park, it may test your focus as you play. It gets loud on holes 7, 8, 11 and 18.
Please make sure you have your name and number written on your disc as it can be very easy to lose your disc here.
