A well designed parkland course by Manchester Disc Golf that makes excellent use of the available space. Challenges first time families all the way to advanced competitors. The local volunteers have planted ~2500 native trees and added large sculpted features to add beauty and difficulty. Restrooms and drinking water can be found at the nearby Longford Cafe within the park. Disc rental is also available from the café: £1 + £5 returnable deposit per disc. The course is generally cart friendly as it is a flat course with mown grass fairways, but the ground can get soft and waterlogged throughout the winter. The white fences and course perimeter mark the out-of-bounds areas for scoring purposes. Please respect the other park users and local residents. We recommend using the main car park off Ryebank Road next to the athletics track as it is larger and safer to access.
