About the course

This well-manicured course in Mahoney State Park features a wide variety of shots from the tee. Elevation changes come into play on the majority of holes. Some holes are moderately wooded and technical while others have open fairways. NE Parks Permit required to enter park. Free for permit holders, $8/entry for a daily pass. Cash only.

Iterating off others that the signs need updated. I was given a map by the Ranger which really helped, but didn't have distances. I used uDisc for distance, but even then that was off. Update these and the course is an easy 4.

Bug spray. Mosquitoes are huge and hungry. Bailed out after 4 holes.

Long course, for above intermediate players. Probably a little too much for park visitors, but a nice course along I80 in one of the best state parks. "Redesign" notes: Comments above still apply. New hole 15 probably saved the rating. A bit of a traffic/safety concern concern for 2/16. Pins have been in long for going on 10 months or so. They need to move them more often.
