"I want to take this moment to address a situation that occurred on July 10, 2022. After finishing my round, I went into full-blown cardiac arrest. While my wife and friend were there to start cpr and call 911, but two ladies came across the course and started switching off on compressions as my wife did rescue breaths. Other disc golfers contributed in a variety of ways and showed the community of care that exists in disc golf as no one recorded anything, but all helped me live. Thank you all ❤️"

"Some of the most iconic holes in disc golf. Came from Canada to play and was more than impressed. Currently 27 holes and could use some added signage or arrows to point to next hole, however this is a 5 star, 8 eighth degree black belt course. (Which means: very, very, very good)."

"This is a nicely laid out course. The main challenge on this course is the distance. There are not too many technical or scenic holes, which was disappointing to me. I felt like many of the holes played like holes on other courses, just not as unique or spectacular as I had hoped for. Still, it is a solid course. "

I didn’t give it a 5 because I feel like it doesn’t have a whole lot of character, nothing super distinct about it. It just feels like it checks all the boxes of a pro course without being that unique."

"Beautiful course, well-designed, with a variety of shots, both wooded and open. Several changes of elevation from a promontory used for several holes, but the course is otherwise mostly flat. I played the 27 hole am layout, and ended having to weave in and out of groups. In hindsight, it may have been more practical to play the 9 hole west layout, then drive to the east 18 hole layout. Personally, I prefer Pier Park further North, though this course is well worth the drive and $5 fee."

"Incredibly beautiful. Super wet. Wish they would have indicated that only the east side was maintained. I attempted to play the Beaver Fling 27 and soon as I got to west I spent the rest of the 3 hours I had to play searching for my discs directly in the middle of the fairways. Partly my fault for not turning back at the sight of high grass, but the current conditions said good. Most beautiful course I’ve ever seen; river play, pro line dream attempts and great variety. Excited to come back."

Off the fairway can be a bit rough for newbies, but I’ve seen worse. Make sure you have a guide or Udisc handy and give the 27 hole layout a go. Overall one of the best courses in the pdx area for people who take the sport seriously. Get ready to test every shot in your arsenal. "
