This is a dynamic course! With 2 tee pads and 2 baskets (on 80% of holes), water carries, link style play, lightly wooded, adjacent to a zoo, the bluffs beauty and North Platte River on your opposite side-- you can create the round you best engage with at Pioneer Ledgends. This course was created with love and thoughtfulness for rec and advanced players. The club is continuing to create positive change for this course (needs clarity in layout and safety steps)-- easily the best west of Kearney (sorry McCook).

The holes were fun and well designed. Every tee had a sign and it was easy to tell which baskets were long and short. The tee signs could be better at indicating the direction to the next tee. There are a number of long walks between finished basket and the next tee. It's not always intutative where to go. There is too backtracking, IMO. More directional signage would be good. Not everyone uses Udisc. I am doubtful of the accuracy of some of the hole distances on the short setup.

Beautiful course that's really fun and challenging. Lots of picnic tables to rest, great signage, and overall one of my favorite courses. Beautiful scenery and a nice little hike!
