About the course

Use St. Andrews road entrance to Saluda Shoals Park, come through the gate ($5 fee), go straight through the stop sign and continue down the dirt road. The parking area is down by the boat launch. Hole 1 starts on the left side of the road close to a wooden post with blue paint on top.

Coming along well. Still needs more arrows on sign posts and baskets. Must use UDisc and sign posts to get where you need to go. Tough course, but good.

Upkeep just needs a lot of work. Especially for a pay to play park

Has tons of potential - fairways need to be kept better and very little room to throw, even while on the fairway. Once teepads are installed and brush and debris are cleared out, then Saluda Shoals could become one of the better courses around the area.

I’m giving the course five stars based on what it will be once the T pads are installed and the fairways etc. are beat in. This is going to be a championship level course with multiple iconic holes. I think I threw the same t shot maybe two or three times across all 18 holes but that’s it. It is definitely a Carolina woods golf… Must stay on the fairway or be punished.
