This course was in bad shape. UWA must’ve given up on keeping it up. There are no tee pads, the grass is waist high on many of the holes, and the signs were barely legible.

Last time the grass was mowed, the dead sea was just beginning to exhibit mild symptoms.

I played this because it was a short hop off the interstate. I’m not snooty about courses being perfect but holy crud this grass hasn’t been cut since dinosaurs roamed western alabama. 17’s basket is literally about 8 inches taller than the grass. The tee signs are faded or missing. I skipped 3 holes due to waist or chest high grass and was careful about throwing towards lower grass landing zones on the rest. At least it’s not so long that you can’t keep an eagle eye on where your disc lands.

Needs better upkeep needs advanced long tees marked and all signage updated
