About the course
A 19 basket course set along farm land and wooded areas in the hills of Tuscany. The Tuscany Disc Golf, operated by Fattoria Di Pietrabuona, starts in proximity to the farm in the Zano estate, and then goes through an olive grove as it ascends towards a path and holes in the woods. The first 9 holes ends at a grassy area with great views and an area suitable for a picnic. This course has steep terrain, and would be difficult for anyone who is not in good physical condition or who has mobility issues. It’s a continuous ascent up terraced land, and will definitely get the heart pumping. The walk back down to parking is along a part paved / part gravel road which is quite steep. Not a course for anyone with knee problems. Check-in and payment are made at Fattoria di Pietrabuona. Drive to Strada Comunale Medicina 2, 51017 Pietrabuona. There you will receive course maps and directions to the course which is a short drive away. Staff speaks Italian/English.

Don’t make this course the reason why you choose to travel to this area of Italy. When we went there the course had been standing unattended for a while and we were warned to play because of snakes. A long roundtrip for us not being able to play.

The course’s scenic however very overgrown and difficult to find and be prepared to drive very much uphill and on rocky roads.

Great course. Overall in the summer just needs maintenance with weed and plants, a few holes require you to power through the undergrowth. To get there you have to follow the signs when you get close from pescia, google maps is not correct. There is a big parking space right at the course. Great variety, mostly uphill though. 200 m climb total. 5 stars if better upkeep.
