Beaver Branch Disc Golf Course (est. 2003) is a private disc golf course located east of Townsend and south of Odessa, Delaware. The name comes from the creek, Beaver Branch, which runs through the property.
The course has two sets of tees, with four course options. It is technical woods course with a couple semi open holes. Ponds, pavement, and creek all play as out-of-bounds. There are drop zones on the opposite sides of the pond holes, circle 3 drop zone tee option in effect.
The main courses are BLUE par 56 (4810’) and GOLD par 59 (6044’), which tee from Fly 18 rubber tees to Mach 3 baskets. Blues, in general are long tees to shorter baskets, golds are long tees to longer basket placements. In a few cases longer tees instead of baskets on golds. And a few of the holes play as both blue and gold.
There are two shorter course option - Red and White layouts. The Reds are a short and technical par 54 (3291'), great for working upshot game! The white layout is a short, but technical par 57 (4281'). It has 3 soft par 4's. Both the red and white layouts have mostly natural tees marked by painted bricks.
The courses are in UDisc and should be accurate (+/-16’).
The course is “SOMEWHAT” CART FRIENDLY. You have to pick up your cart several times to cross creeks.
SHIRTS, shoes, clothing required! Please be mindful this is private property with three homes on the course.
PLEASE carry in and CARRY OUT! Trash, cigarette butts should not be left on any course.
PARK in front of the “473” house. Hole 1 is located next to flagpole behind the house.
