Good conditions
High Plains is a fun, technical, New England style, 18 hole course that is fantastic for new players to learn and experienced players to fine tune their skills. Lots of elevation, casual streams, some OB. Located in the woods behind High Plains Community Center.
From either park entrance, drive to the back to the picnic pavilion; course is directly behind the picnic area, through the woods about 100 feet. When you enter the woods, follow the path going immediately to the left, and walk down the hill to find the tee pad for hole 1.

If you need a rope to get from the teebox to the fairway and a rope to get from the fairway to the green, the hole was poorly designed.

They have added a lot of signage, teeboxes, and bridges for the streams. This course has improved a lot since I’ve started coming here.
