Fun and challenging hill shot short course. Great with the kids or after playing one of the other amazing courses. Need the map on the app for a few holes.

Very challenging for a beginner course. Lots of trees and if you over throw 2nd shot you are almost guaranteed a bogey unless you hit the putt of your life.

We absolutely loved this place! The $5 entry fee for each of us was totally worth it - it meant it wasn't over crowded and we could take our time.
There is no Internet access out there but you can pay another $5 to access theirs for the day. Worth it.
There's three courses to choose from, we did the beginner one, hilltop. It is quite uphill for the first 9 holes, I was pooped and next time will wear my hiking shoes.
Gratefully all down hill for the second 9, and that puts you right back at the parking lot where the bathrooms (and the peacocks!) are.

The beginner course of the three Horning's Hideout courses isn't a push over. Most holes are under 200 ft, which is definitely beginner friendly. But, many of these holes are uphill or downhill, and a few require shots through a narrow clearing. This is a fun course, with some challenges for non-beginners as well .

Im super impressed with the course. I’m a novice so the highland course was perfect. Not to muddy and no standing water. Good times!

Excellent putter/ beginner course. Good variety of shots and elevation. Good signage and tee pads. Homemade baskets are the biggest downfall, but at least they offer good visibility.
