Best course layout in VA, and has the potential to be one of the best courses period in the country. First course I've ever given a 5/5 despite having issues with the tee areas, signage, way finding, and maintenance. Absolutely stunning, with every type of shot shape you could want. Woods. Park style. Open field. Water carry. Elevation. Tunnels. Landing zones. Nature/Animals. Scenery. This course has it all. Needs terracing on hole 8, signage and way finding throughout, and maybe wood chips at all the baskets. Bucket list destination course!

Super tough course. The elevation changes will test your patience. The shot shapes are very diverse. I would definitely suggest spending the weekend there to play Lair and Lion to get more bang for your buck.
