Noho dog park is a free, volunteer maintained course. The maintenance is better than what you pay for, but keep your expectations low. It’s particularly rough in the middle of summer: there’s lots of overgrowth and a half dozen disc-eating holes. Early spring is a great time to play the course. The positive of the course is its well designed with a lot of hole variety: a couple long open drives, finicky through-the-woods shots, up hill right turns, blind down-hill left turns, etc. It’s not a beginner friendly course, and it’s taken time for me to appreciate the design, but the variety between holes is close to exceptional. That said, hole 5 should be thrown in the trash. I’d love to see some investment in the course, rebuilding the tee-pads would be a great improvement. That said, I really appreciate the volunteers who maintain the course, there’s nothing that touches the value you get out of it. Come play, bring your disc retrieval tool, and look out for goblins.
